SAFReC has partnered with Members In Christ Church Theological Seminary (MICCTS) to provide comprehensive theological and chaplaincy training for pastors, lay pastors, and pastoral counsellors.
MICCTS serve as SAFReC's new training facility, a major step in equipping and empowering Community Chaplains. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to excel in theological education and chaplaincy training. With MICCTS’s respected seminary and strong faith foundation, our chaplains will be well-prepared to serve with wisdom, compassion, and strength.
SAFREC Chaplaincy Specialised Training/Endorsement for a range of comprehensive chaplaincy services, reflecting our commitment to provide holistic support across various environments. This endorsement encompasses roles designed to address diverse needs and enhance well-being through spiritual, emotional, and practical support.
MICCTS offers a variety of in-house courses designed to equip individuals for effective chaplaincy and pastoral ministry, including
MICCTS assists individuals in reviewing their existing experience through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), in alignment with the National Qualifications Framework Act 67 of 2008. Through RPL, individuals can gain formal recognition and credits for prior learning and work experience.
